We have seen enough by now....it's all about election, isn't it? I was talking to my relatives few days ago...they had been to their farm house in the remote area. The elctricity problem in that area has been going off and on for number of years. Farmers in the vicinity areas have learned to live their lives just like primitive times....still proud to be the citizen of 'Modern India'. Makes you wonder what are they proud about that we have achieved our nuclear capabilities on our own or our technological advancement. So when asked my aunt that how was their stay away from the mad city, she answered gaily that it was such a plesant surprise as far as electricity was concerned....she said electricity actually lasted for about 18 hours straight and credit goes to the upcoming elections...awesome....but then she also added that they are sure that this would be back to where it was after the eections. The common people like us are acutely aware of the problem we are facing today...that's our perspective of our political system and our administrators. We have learned to size-up our politician very well. We know that they will stop at nothing to win this election (lottery ticket literally). But we are cowards...we have accepted our system just like we have accepted our dirty surrounding...spitting on the roads..littering everywhere..except in our houses. After all, how does it matter when your house is beautiful, neat, clean and well air-conditioned...and your surrounding equally bad. This attitude has gone far too deep in our thinking and we no longer feel the need to change any of it...even our leaders. We know only one thing well "how to pout on disburbing things and move on". Tolerant new India ...nice name, isn't it?
We have learned to be self-centred....then why blame our politician. Poor souls! they are doing exactly what their peer-culture is making them do...all they are trying to race is with thir fellow politicians...nice cars...few bungalows and plenty of "Gandhijis" in the bank and under the carpets. They are just paying attention to how much they can huddle-up during their official position.
So let's enjoy this "election" while its glory lasts, just the way we might celebrate V-day...who care about the lofty politicians and their ways after the elections...or about our country and it's future...just like your subject of adulation and wishes. Give your vote or rose and get it over with. Let's select who can be better at gathering more wealth and not more reforms for the better future of this great nation.
Let's have some juicy news and entertaining politicians...let's live in this moment. Let our children face their own problems...why do we have lay foundation for them...but we still claim to love our children!!
Hey.. write something about bollywood. New India needs entertainment and fun...not some reforms or mundane politics...we are self-absorbed sleeping citizen and we love our political slumber. What are you trying to do...Please don't wake us up!!

NO, PLEASE DON'T EVER LET THINGS GO OUT OF OUR HANDS THIS TIME FOLKS. DON'T SURRENDER BEFORE THE FALSE FACES OF OUR POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES. KEEP PRESSURIZING THE GOVT. BODIES TO BRING IN THE YOUNG,WELL EDUCATED, CLEAN BACKGROUND CANDIDATES FROM THE SOCIETY TO JOIN AND FORM A PARTY WHO CAN REALLY WORK FOR THE COMMON MAN. LIKE OUR LEAD INDIA'08 CANDIDATES SHOULD COME OUT OF THEIR HIBERNATION, TOGETHER FORM A SEPARATE PARTY, AND START AIMING FOR A DEVELOPED AND BEAUTIFUL INDIA AGAIN.

How long before we forget the tragedies of 26/11. All attempts are made to forget it by every small event. I remember when I last visited Mumbai.
I was walking on road in Andheri, a place which is near to Airport and the railway station. Suddenly I saw a young man in twenties walking ahead of me with so many ghosts making noise around. I did not see the ghosts but only heard the sound of ghosts telling about this man. They were telling his mind/thoughts and tempting others to repeat their words. It was a true experience ghosts trouble. I followed him. Many people came and repeated the ghosts words. Then he said 'why ghosts?' but people did not respond. The guy was fully captured by the people with the help of ghosts. Instead of helping him, people were troubling him more.
That man knew that people are bad mouthing him by using the ghosts but could not do anything. I went near him and asked him about these ghosts. He told me the true story and I was shocked to hear it. It was the people of Mumbai who casted ghost spells on him during the time of his marriage in order to ban his marriage. Later, when nothing was gained and he did not die, they continued but he came to know about the ghosts spells too. It was a very a cruel story of what people of Mumbai do to innocents. Entire city was against him to hide this evil activity. He visited many places for deliverance but people were not willing to set him free. Even he feels that such ghost horror is rarest of any kind and should never ever happen again. Surprisingly, everything was happened with the consent of the public. It was very difficult to believe that the evil activities are being carried out in civilized cities like Mumbai in the name of culture.
As I started walking along with him, some people pushed me deliberately to be away from him. I did not understand in the beginning but the young man explained me what people doing. Some of them threatened openly as if I have committed a serious offence. I was shocked and asked one of them whether it was human. He replied 'This is Mumbai, anything happens anytime". I could not sleep that night thinking how bad these people of Mumbai have become and started packing up the very next day never to return to Mumbai again.
